Tips from All-American Dan Browne

.) Concentrate on relaxing during your training and racing.

.) Improve your weaknesses until they become your strengths.

.) Never increase your weekly mileage by more than 10 miles a week.

.) When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

.) Give yourself an easy day before your competitions to help get the most out of your body on race day.

.) Always maintain a positive mental outlook before, during, and after a competition.

.) Take a break from running each year to allow yourself to fully recover and be ready to compete again.

.) No reserves, No retreats, No regrets!  Say this to yourself three times at the starting line!

.) Core strengthening exercises will transform your running career

.) Strength is the key, speed is the sword!
